As a lifelong Spider-Man fan, I let the internet and public opinion convince me that this was the worst entry in the franchise. This re-watch was a much-needed reminder to always form my own opinion. I actually enjoyed this immensely- the suit designs are iconic, the web-swinging feels weightless and heroic, and Sandman’s character and VFX are genuinely impressive. It’s officially earned a spot in my Top 5.
