Visually, this movie is a knockout, and the sound design hits every creepy note perfectly. But as a piece of the "Evil MCU" puzzle? I’m lost. It feels like the rules of this world are changing on the fly - since when are we hunting high-fantasy supernatural artifacts? I’m not sure how this connects to fighting a possessed doll or what it’s actually building toward. It looks great, but the plot is a total blur.
