After a Black Friday riot ends in tragedy, a mysterious Thanksgiving-inspired killer terrorizes Plymouth, Massachusetts - the birthplace of the holiday. Picking off residents one by one, what begins as random revenge killings are soon revealed to be part of a larger, sinister holiday plan.
Thanksgiving is a fantastic argument for never watching a movie trailer again. By walking in blind, the constant shocks and surprises made for a much more impactful experience. While the acting from some of the younger cast members was a bit thin, the film more than makes up for it with its incredible "Scream" and "I Know What You Did Last Summer" vibes. Itβs a creative, brutal, and genuinely fun slasher that respects the genre's roots.
