This movie knows exactly what it is: a fast-paced, "insane" splatter-fest. It trades the slow-burn dread of the original for pure, unadulterated carnage, and it’s a lot of fun if you have the stomach for it. It’s a 100% "yes" for me, and I’m officially ready to go back and see just how much worse (or better) the rest of the timeline gets.
