I am incredibly impressed with the quality of this debut. YouTube stars-turned-directors Danny and Michael Philippou really proved their worth with this one. While it wasn't perfect, it’s rare to find a horror movie that hits this many marks. The commitment to practical effects and in-camera work made every creepy moment feel significantly more disturbing. While I struggled with the main character’s choices at times, the supporting cast was excellent and carried the weight of the story. A really strong, refreshing watch.
