I really didn't get the appeal of this one. IT feels like it’s trying too hard to be edgy by using the 1980s setting as an excuse for crazy language and over-the-top bullying. The clown has a few spooky moments, but overall, the movie is a repetitive slog that doesn't offer anything new to the genre.
