The best thing I can say about Fear Street: Prom Queen is that it was, indeed, produced. After the creative heights of the first three films, this 1988-set follow-up feels remarkably hollow, relying on '80s nostalgia and predictable tropes rather than fresh ideas. Itβs a movie that goes through the motions without ever finding a reason to justify its invitation to the dance.
