After dominating the boxing world, Adonis Creed has thrived in his career and family life. When a childhood friend and former boxing prodigy, Damian Anderson, resurfaces after serving a long sentence in prison, he is eager to prove that he deserves his shot in the ring. The face-off between former friends is more than just a fight. To settle the score, Adonis must put his future on the line to battle Damian β a fighter with nothing to lose.
Creed III is a bold but ultimately flawed attempt to reinvent a formula that has been "rinsed and repeated" for decades. While Michael B. Jordanβs passion for anime is evident in the stylized cinematography and the surreal final fight, the execution feels jarringly out of place in a franchise known for its grounded realism. By stripping away the crowd and the "Rocky" heart of the series, the film loses the emotional stakes that made the first two entries so compelling. Itβs an ambitious experiment that unfortunately makes for the hardest and least entertaining watch of the trilogy.Β
