On the run from a lethal assassin, a wily con artist devises a scheme to hide out inside a small-town police station. However, when the hit man turns up at the precinct, an unsuspecting rookie cop finds herself caught in the crosshairs.
There isn’t anything glaringly wrong with Copshop. It’s got snappy dialogue, solid action, and it hits my favorite trope: the "trapped in a single location" survival fight. It’s a fun ride, but it never quite does anything well enough to be considered amazing, which is where it ultimately falls a bit flat. It’s a perfectly fine watch, but if you’re looking for the gold standard of this genre, just go watch Assault on Precinct 13 instead.
