Brave New World is a disappointing entry that fails to justify Sam Wilsonβs promotion to the big screen. By pivoting from a nuanced political conspiracy to a generic "Red Hulk" brawl, the film loses the very thing that made the Winter Soldier era of Captain America great: stakes. The CGI-heavy finale feels disconnected from the rest of the story, and the character arc for Sam feels stagnant, leaving him overshadowed by the spectacle. Itβs a movie that exists because the schedule demanded it, not because there was a story worth telling.
