The Bone Temple is a strong, redemptive middle chapter that successfully expands the lore of the Rage Virus. While the villainous Jimmy Crystal can be exhausting and intentionally irritating to watch, the film is anchored by a career-best performance from Ralph Fiennes. His portrayal of Dr. Kelson brings a necessary "moral clarity" to the chaos, and his evolving relationship with the alpha infected, Samson, is the unexpected heart of the movie. Itβs a beautifully shot, high-tension bridge to the finale that rewards those who have stuck with the series.
Recommend it - Yes (but you need to have seen all in the series)
